Gabrovo: 85-year-old cyclist killed in collision with car

An 85-year-old cyclist died following a collision with a car in Gabrovo. The accident occurred on October 17 near the intersection of Orlovska Street and Treti Mart Boulevard, or on Stoletov Boulevard, according to different reports.

Emergency medical teams responded to the scene, but the elderly man succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have launched a pre-trial investigation under the supervision of the Gabrovo District Prosecutor's Office to determine the exact circumstances, including speed and road conditions.

The driver of the car was tested for alcohol and drugs, with both tests returning negative results. Police are currently conducting a detailed inspection of the site and reviewing available evidence to establish responsibility.
