A heated verbal altercation occurred within the Gabrovo Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior between Director Iliyan Ivanov and his deputy, Tsvetan Petkov. The dispute escalated into shouting in the directorate's foyer, necessitating the intervention of an on-duty police patrol.
