Gaby Sánchez to face Mariana Juárez in Puebla boxing match

Boxer Gaby ‘La Bonita’ Sánchez is set to face Mexican boxing legend Mariana ‘La Barby’ Juárez on Saturday, December 5, at the Estadio Hermanos Serdán in Puebla. The match is scheduled in the super flyweight division.

The World Boxing Council (WBC) has confirmed that a commemorative belt will be awarded during the bout. This event marks the first time the Estadio Hermanos Serdán, also known as ‘Nido Verde’, will host a boxing function.

Sánchez, who recently served as the Secretary of Sport and Youth, expressed her readiness for the challenge, noting her goal to showcase the talent and quality of athletes from Puebla on a national stage.
