GAC Aion UT Premium joins Brazil's Move Brasil financing program

Chinese automaker GAC announced that its electric hatchback Aion UT Premium is now eligible for Brazil's Move Brasil financing scheme, which offers reduced interest rates and longer repayment terms to taxi drivers and ride‑hailing professionals. The model is priced at R$ 132,990 for qualifying participants, down from R$ 139,990, and meets the program’s price cap of R$ 150,000.

The inclusion positions the Aion UT Premium against competitors such as the Geely EX2 and BYD Dolphin, which target the same professional‑driver market. According to GAC, the Premium version is equipped with a 44.12 kWh battery delivering up to 253 km of range, while the Elite version offers a 60 kWh battery and 310 km range.

GAC also confirmed ongoing discounts for other models—including the GS3, Aion ES, GS4, and Aion Y—as well as a dedicated commercial policy for customers with disabilities (PCD) and taxi drivers, aiming to broaden its presence in Brazil’s growing electric‑vehicle fleet renewal effort.
