GAC introduces E8 HEV hybrid MPV

GAC has introduced the E8 HEV, a seven-seat hybrid MPV designed for family use. The vehicle utilizes a self-charging hybrid system that offers a claimed range of over 1,000km without the need for plug-in charging.

The E8 HEV features a Magic Storage seating system capable of 18 different configurations. This allows the cabin to transition between passenger and cargo modes, with the third row folding flat to increase luggage capacity from 345 liters to 1,917 liters. Higher-end variants include One-Touch Zero Gravity Captain’s Seats equipped with ventilation, massage functions, and powered leg rests.

Technical specifications include a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle hybrid engine producing 182PS and 300Nm of torque. The interior is equipped with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, wireless charging, and seven USB ports.
