GAC launches GS9 Ultra luxury hybrid SUV in Brazil

GAC has launched the GS9 Ultra in Brazil, a luxury six-seater SUV designed to compete in the high-end segment. The vehicle features a plug-in hybrid system with range extender technology (REEV), combining a 1.5 turbo combustion engine with two electric motors to deliver a combined 500 cv and 613 Nm of torque.

The SUV is equipped with a 44.5 kWh battery from CATL, providing an electric autonomy of 114 km according to Inmetro standards. The interior is designed for comfort, featuring Nappa leather, heating, ventilation, and massage functions for the first two rows, along with a 15.6-inch multimedia screen and a 21-speaker sound system.

For its launch period, the GS9 Ultra is priced at R$ 379,990, with an official price of R$ 399,990. The model measures 5.06 meters in length and offers a cargo capacity ranging from 255 to 1,005 liters depending on seat configuration.
