GAC unveils XT80 plug-in hybrid SUV in Saudi Arabia

GAC has unveiled the XT80, a new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) SUV, at the 2026 Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition. The vehicle is designed for off-road use, excursions, and diverse driving conditions, targeting enthusiasts of outdoor activities.

The XT80 features a 50 kWh battery and an automatic transmission. It offers an electric-only range between 132 and 214 kilometers, with a total driving range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. Dimensions include a length of 5,045 mm, a width of 2,004 mm, and a height of 1,933 mm, supported by a 2.9-meter wheelbase.

Key technological features include a 540-degree panoramic vision system, an automatic parking system, active noise cancellation, and Nappa leather seats.
