GAC vehicle exports rise 138.9% in first nine months of year

GAC reported a significant surge in vehicle exports from January to September, reaching 197,701 units. This represents a 138.9% increase compared to the previous year and marks nine consecutive months of year-on-year growth exceeding 100%. The company is currently working toward an annual export target of 300,000 units.

In the Asia-Pacific region, GAC has expanded its footprint through localization, including the launch of a KD plant in Cambodia. Sales in Southeast Asian markets saw substantial growth, with Laos, the Philippines, and Indonesia reporting increases of 433%, 301%, and 79% respectively.

European expansion is also accelerating, with notable month-on-month sales increases in the United Kingdom, Greece, and Switzerland. Additionally, the company has expanded its presence in the Americas, seeing triple-digit sales growth in Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador.
