Gaúcho cultural events held in Parobé and Chapecó

Various regional cultural events celebrating Gaúcho traditions took place in Brazil. In Parobé, the 3rd Municipal Farroupilha Rodeio concluded at Fazenda TE, featuring traditionalist competitions such as individual and team lassoing (laço) and 'Vaca Parada' for children. Competitors from several CTGs, including Sangue Nativo and Estância de Santa Cristina, participated in the various categories.

In Chapecó, the 5th edition of the 'Melhor Churrasqueiro do Oeste' (Best BBQ Chef of the West) was held during the 22nd Acampamento Farroupilha. The competition challenged chefs to prepare various meats, including ribs, pork, chicken, and lamb, under strict rules that prohibited the use of skewers and aluminum foil, requiring direct grill work. The event was organized by Fernanda Moreira and attended by various guests to promote regional culinary skills.
