Gadsden police investigate drive-by shooting that injured four teenagers

Four teenagers were injured in a drive-by shooting outside a Waffle House located at 1000 Rainbow Drive in Gadsden, Alabama. The incident occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. on August 21.

Gadsden Mayor Craig Ford reported that the four victims were in stable condition and expected to survive. The Gadsden Police Department has identified suspects and is working to locate them. Additionally, investigators are seeking to question Shandreke Gill, who is believed to be traveling in a 2016 Jeep Cherokee, though police have not named Gill as a suspect or accused them of a crime.

First responders, including the Gadsden Fire Department, EMS, and LifeFlight crews, assisted the injured juveniles, who were transported to local hospitals for medical care.
