Gaelic games championships progress across Ireland

Various regional Gaelic games championships are progressing across Ireland. In the Offaly senior hurling championship, reigning champions Kilcormac–Killoughey secured a direct path to the semi-finals after an emphatic 2-24 to 0-14 victory over Birr.

In the Dublin Senior Football Championship, Kilmacud Crokes advanced to the quarter-finals following a 1-19 to 1-14 win against Ballinteer St Johns, led by a performance from Paul Mannion. They are set to face Castleknock in the next round.

The Cork Senior A Hurling Championship enters its final group stage matches, with several clubs competing for top spots to secure direct entry into the last four. Key fixtures include Blarney versus Watergrasshill and Killeagh versus Na Piarsaigh.

In Cavan, the Senior Football Championship continues at various venues because Breffni Park remains unavailable following a kitchen fire. Holders Kingscourt Stars have already secured a place in the last eight, while several other teams compete in high-stakes matches to avoid elimination.
