Gaeta hosts US political delegation from Massachusetts

The city of Gaeta is hosting a delegation of 19 United States political leaders from September 24 to 28 during the Feast of Saints Cosmas and Damian. The visit aims to strengthen ties with the Italian-American community of New England.

The American delegation includes prominent figures from Massachusetts, such as Sal DiDomenico, Senator and President of the Saints Cosmas and Damian Society, alongside Cambridge Vice Mayor E. Denise Simmons and former Cambridge Mayor Marc C. McGovern. A delegation from the French town of Frontignan La Peyrade will also participate.

Scheduled activities include the traditional Procession of the Holy Physicians on September 26, an official ceremony on Via Cambridge, and visits to local historical sites including the Castello Angioino-Aragonese and Montagna Spaccata.
