Gaetano Auteri Appointed New Head Coach of Foggia Calcio

Gaetano Auteri has been hired as the new head coach of Serie C club Foggia Calcio, signing a two‑year contract to lead the team's rebuilding project. In his introductory press conference he described the club’s situation as "anno zero" (year zero) and emphasized the need to create a strong football identity through collective work, professionalism and unity.

Auteri highlighted the historic passion of the city and the club’s ambition to return to a higher level. While the official readmission to Serie C will be confirmed on 28 July, the club has already attracted over 3,600 fan subscriptions, signalling strong local support for the new direction.
