Gafsa hosts iSME’s Roadshow to support startups and SMEs

The iSME’s Roadshow 2026, an initiative to support innovative startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), held its third stage in Gafsa, Tunisia. Following previous stops in Le Kef and Monastir, this event aims to bring financing and support mechanisms closer to entrepreneurs in regional areas.

The project is funded by the World Bank and coordinated by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) in collaboration with Smart Capital and various ecosystem partners. The Gafsa event brought together public institutions, investment funds, researchers, and entrepreneurs.

Registration data shows significant interest in the tour, with 287 total registrations recorded so far. The Gafsa stage alone accounted for 127 registrations, representing approximately 44% of the total. Among participants, financing was identified as the primary concern, followed by a need for information regarding available support mechanisms.
