Gaga Daily founder returns after imprisonment in Belarus

Kirill Nguyen, the founder of the prominent Lady Gaga fan account ‘Gaga Daily’, has returned to social media after a two-year absence caused by imprisonment in Belarus. Nguyen, who has managed the account since 2009, revealed his situation to followers, stating, “I was arrested in my home country for protesting against the government and sentenced to more than two years in prison.”

Nguyen explained that his legal troubles stemmed from his involvement in protests in Belarus, a country where he was raised. He noted that he had attended protests following a disputed election involving President Alexander Lukashenko. While the account continued to post during his absence through the help of friends, Nguyen has now resumed his role as the primary creator of content for the platform.

His return has garnered significant attention from the fan community, with his announcement reaching millions of views. Nguyen expressed a desire to catch up on the music and performances he missed during his time in detention.
