The Central Electoral Commission of Gagauzia (CECG) has officially registered Ivan Cîlcic as the fourth candidate for the Gagauzia mayoral election. Cîlcic, a mechanical engineer and Vice President of the Gagauz People's Party, previously ran as an independent for the People's Assembly in 2021.

Fiodor Gagauz, the candidate supported by the Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova, has issued a video address regarding the upcoming elections. He called for political maturity and urged candidates to avoid “dirty attacks,” emphasizing the need to focus on citizen issues to ensure a free and fair electoral process.
