Gaggenau residents demand action against nighttime traffic noise

Residents in Gaggenau are increasingly protesting against nighttime traffic noise caused by street racers and vehicle enthusiasts. Local citizens report being frequently woken up by excessive engine noise and speeding, leading to concerns regarding sleep deprivation and long-term health impacts.

While residents are calling for more frequent speed checks and patrols, city officials state that they currently lack the necessary personnel to conduct regular nighttime inspections. The police have responded by noting that they do perform regular checks, including undercover operations, to address the issue.
