GAHAR officials visit Ismailia to enhance healthcare quality standards

The General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation (GAHAR) conducted a field visit to the Ismailia Governorate to monitor the implementation of quality standards within health facilities. Dr. Ahmed Taha, Chairman of GAHAR, met with Ismailia Governor Nabil El-Sayed Hasballah to discuss enhancing cooperation and supporting health facilities to maintain the achievements of the universal health insurance system.

Currently, 120 health facilities in Ismailia have received accreditation according to international GAHAR standards, including 63 private sector facilities. The authority emphasized the private sector's role as a key partner in the success of the universal health insurance system. GAHAR has also implemented training programs and technical support in the governorate to improve the skills of healthcare workers and ensure patient safety practices.
