GAHIB launches carpet export mission to Colombia and Panama

The Southeast Anatolian Carpet Exporters' Association (GAHIB) has launched a strategic trade mission to Latin America to expand the global market share of the Turkish carpet industry. Supported by the Ministry of Trade, a sectoral trade delegation is scheduled to visit Colombia and Panama from September 13 to 19, 2026.

The delegation's itinerary includes visits to Bogota, Colombia, and Panama City, Panama. The mission aims to establish a presence in the high-potential Latin American market through B2B meetings with local importers and industry representatives. These meetings are intended to create a foundation for new supply agreements and allow exporters to study regional market dynamics, chain stores, and distribution channels.
