Gaia Gozzi says no one is 100% straight while defending Elodie and Franceska

Italian singer Gaia Gozzi, the 2025 Amici winner, told Corriere della Sera that the media scrutiny of Elodie’s relationship with Franceska Nuredini is misplaced. She argued that “no one is 100% straight” and urged the public to focus on more serious issues such as wars, hate and child mortality.

Gozzi also recalled a supportive phone call with veteran artist Ornella Vanoni before her Sanremo performance, saying Vanoni’s encouragement helped calm her nerves. The interview highlighted Gozzi’s willingness to comment on social topics beyond her music career.
