Gaijin Entertainment's Active Matter surpasses 500,000 copies sold

Gaijin Entertainment has announced that its hardcore shooter, Active Matter, has exceeded 500,000 copies sold worldwide. The sales figures encompass platforms including Steam, Gaijin.Net, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with Xbox currently holding the largest share of the player base.

Anton Yudintsev, co-founder of Gaijin Entertainment, noted that the steady sales since the game's September launch are particularly encouraging. He observed that the lack of a typical first-week spike, replaced by consistent long-term performance, is characteristic of hardcore titles that grow through community engagement and word-of-mouth.

The developer plans to expand the game with new content and features over the coming years. The first major content update is expected by the end of 2026 and will reportedly introduce new maps, weapons, monsters, and bosses.
