GAIKINDO to host simultaneous auto shows in 10 Indonesian cities

The Association of Indonesia Automotive Industries (GAIKINDO), in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Permata Bank, will host the Permata Bank GAIKINDO Auto Week 2026. In a historic first for the industry, the exhibition will be held simultaneously across 10 major Indonesian cities to boost national vehicle sales and maintain market momentum before the end of the year.

The main event will take place at ICE BSD City in Jakarta from November 20 to 29, 2026. The remaining nine cities—Bali, Balikpapan, Bandung, Makassar, Medan, Palembang, Semarang, Solo, and Surabaya—will host simultaneous exhibitions from November 25 to 29 at various prominent shopping malls.

Organizers aim to expand consumer access beyond the Jakarta area and project transaction values to exceed the Rp6.8 trillion recorded during the previous year's event. GAIKINDO leadership stated the expansion is a strategic move to create a massive sales platform and contribute significantly to national automotive industry records.
