Gail Porter reveals stalking and harassment following House of Commons photo scandal

TV presenter Gail Porter has revealed that she faced stalking and home invasions following a 1999 incident where a nude photograph of her was projected onto the House of Commons without her permission.

Porter stated that the stunt, involving a photo taken for FHM Magazine, resulted in severe personal consequences, including her flat being broken into and the theft of personal items. She noted that she faced public scrutiny and accusations of being involved in the stunt, despite having no knowledge of it.

The presenter, who is currently performing a stand-up comedy show titled ‘Portergeist’ at the Edinburgh Fringe, has also been open about her subsequent struggles with mental illness, homelessness, and alopecia.
