GAK 1902 appoints Gerald Scheiblehner as head coach
GAK 1902 has appointed Gerald Scheiblehner as its new head coach. The 49-year-old Austrian has signed a contract that runs until the summer of 2028.
Scheiblehner succeeds Ferdinand Feldhofer. He will be supported by assistant coaches Daniel Rozsa and Toni Mestrovic, who are also joining the club's technical team.
Scheiblehner brings significant experience to the Austrian Bundesliga. He previously led Blau-Weiß Linz to promotion in 2023 and subsequently guided them into the league's championship group. Most recently, he served at the Swiss club Grasshopper Club Zürich until March 2026. GAK President René Ziesler and interim sporting director Andreas Lienhart both expressed confidence in Scheiblehner's ability to drive the club's development and implement an active playing style.
