Gakken to Publish 'Fumikiri Neko' Picture Book with Erika Ikuta Theme Song on Oct 15, 2026

Japanese publisher Gakken announced the release of the picture book 『ふみきりねこ』 (Fumikiri Neko) on 15 October 2026. The book is written by author Kenta Otsuka and illustrated by Aki Kondou, marking their first collaboration. It will be printed in B5 size, 32 pages, priced at ¥1,650, and will also be available in digital format.

The project includes a theme song titled “にゃんとかにゃるる” performed by actress‑singer Erika Ikuta. The song will be pre‑released on 26 August 2026, with a limited‑edition CD (including BD and stickers) issued on 14 October 2026. In addition, a set of eight LINE stickers featuring the book’s cat characters will launch alongside the book on 15 October 2026.
