Gal Gadot praises Margot Robbie as the perfect choice for Barbie

Gal Gadot has expressed her support for Margot Robbie following revelations that Gadot was the initial choice to play the lead role in the 2023 film ‘Barbie’. Gadot noted that scheduling conflicts involving two other film projects likely prevented her from taking the part.

Speaking on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, Gadot stated she has no regrets and described Robbie as the “perfect choice” for the role. She expressed gratitude for the consideration and noted that Robbie’s performance was incredible.

In addition to her recent success with ‘Barbie’, Robbie’s career history includes roles in ‘I, Tonya’ and ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, as well as an appearance in the 2013 romantic comedy ‘About Time’ alongside Domhnall Gleeson and Rachel McAdams.
