GAL Valle del Crati showcases Calabrian food at Terra Madre 2026

The GAL Valle del Crati participated in the Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026 in Turin, an international event held every two years that brings together producers and chefs to promote the concept of good, clean, and fair food.

Representing the Rural Hub Calabria interterritorial cooperation project, the organization showcased local biodiversity and traditional products, such as Tamarrata, Crocette del fico dottato, and chestnut-related items. Rosaria Amalia Capparelli, president of the GAL, stated that these products represent the territory's ability to transform biodiversity into a real economy for local communities.

The participation was part of a collective effort involving 13 Calabrian GALs and the Calabria Region, aligned with the CSR 2023-2027 programming and the ‘Calabria Straordinaria’ brand.
