Gala reflects on motherhood and grandmotherhood

Bulgarian television presenter Gala, known for her long-running show ‘Na Kafe’ on Nova Television, has shared personal reflections on motherhood and her role as a grandmother. Celebrating 25 years on screen, Gala expressed that her two granddaughters, Laura and Gina, have provided her with a sense of emotional redemption.

Gala noted that she views her time with her granddaughters as an opportunity to compensate for perceived shortcomings in her relationship with her daughter, Mari. She expressed a desire to dedicate time to activities she feels she missed out on during Mari's upbringing, such as reading fairy tales and singing songs.

The family connection is further strengthened by long-standing friendships; the father of the children, Konstantin, is the son of television presenter Deliana Marinova (known as Dzhudzhi), who is a close friend of Gala. Both grandmothers are actively involved in raising the two girls.
