Galatasaray completes major transfers of Rafael Leao and Deniz Gul

Galatasaray has completed a major transfer for Portuguese forward Rafael Leao from AC Milan. The deal involves a fixed transfer fee of 38 million euros, with Milan retaining a 20% share of any profit from the player's next sale. Leao has signed a four-year contract starting from the 2026-2027 season, with a guaranteed annual net salary of 10 million euros.

In addition to the Leao signing, Galatasaray has secured Deniz Gul from Porto for a 10 million euro transfer fee. Gul has signed a five-year contract, with Porto receiving 10% of the profit from his future sale. The club is also in official negotiations with RB Leipzig for the temporary transfer of defender El-Chadaille Bitshiabu.

Leao expressed his enthusiasm for joining the club, stating, “Galatasaray is a very big club... I am here to win championships and share that feeling with the fans.” Meanwhile, Italian media commentary regarding his departure from Milan characterized his seven-season tenure as a period of “one Scudetto and too many illusions.”
