Galatasaray enters talks with Al-Hilal for Yusuf Akçiçek

Galatasaray is reportedly in negotiations with Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal to acquire defender Yusuf Akçiçek. The Turkish club is looking to strengthen its defensive line for upcoming competitions in the Trendyol Süper Lig and the UEFA Champions League.

Al-Hilal has indicated that they may be willing to release the 20-year-old center-back on a loan basis, provided that a portion of his salary is covered. Akçiçek currently earns approximately $6.5 million annually; Al-Hilal has reportedly requested that $3.75 million of that amount be met as a condition for the transfer.

Akçiçek, who previously played for Fenerbahçe before moving to Saudi Arabia for a reported €22 million, is currently not in Al-Hilal's primary squad plans due to foreign player quota limitations. Galatasaray is currently evaluating the financial terms of the proposed deal.
