Galatasaray evaluates Icardi contract as Osimhen proposes Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare

Galatasaray’s management is negotiating a new deal with striker Mauro Icardi while the Argentine’s contract renewal remains unresolved. Icardi’s agent, Elia Pino, told reporters that the club is the player’s “family” and that they are not entertaining other offers, emphasizing a proposed 1+1‑year deal versus the player’s demand for a two‑year contract with an €8 million salary.

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who plays for Galatasaray, has suggested the club sign his compatriot Tolu Arokodare – a 25‑year‑old forward currently at Wolverhampton. Osimhen said Arokodare’s physicality and playing style would bolster Galatasaray’s attack in a congested schedule and European matches. Arokodare, who has scored six goals and provided two assists in 38 Premier League appearances, is reportedly open to a move, with a market value around €20 million. The club is expected to decide on both Icardi’s future and any new forward signing in the coming days.
