Galatasaray: Icardi decision pending, Çalhanoğlu off transfer list

Galatasaray remains in the market for a new striker as Argentine forward Mauro Icardi has not yet responded to the club’s €5 million offer. Icardi, whose contract expires at the end of June, is expected to give a definitive answer after his vacation in the Maldives with his partner. Transfermarkt lists his market value at €4 million, and he has contributed 16 goals and three assists in 47 appearances for the Turkish side.

In contrast, club president Dursun Özbek confirmed that midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu is not currently on Galatasaray’s transfer agenda. The statement clarified that previous discussions with the Inter player were friendly in nature and did not involve a formal transfer pursuit.
