Galatasaray marks 26th league title with celebrations in Istanbul and Brussels

In Istanbul’s Arnavutköy district, the Galatasaray Fans Association held a gala to commemorate the club’s 26th Süper Lig championship and the association’s 10‑year anniversary. Local officials, including the district governor and municipal representatives, attended, and the trophy was displayed for photos. Concerts by Ebru Polat and Hasan Yılmaz provided entertainment, while speeches highlighted Galatasaray’s cultural significance for Turkish society.

In Brussels, the Belgian Galatasaray Fans Association organized a series of events around the Grand Place. Galatasaray President Dursun Aydın Özbek, board member Eray Yazgan, Brussels Mayor Philippe Close and other dignitaries took part. The celebrations featured a presentation at the municipal building, a reception, and a symbolic visit to the Manneken Pis statue dressed in the club’s colors. The championship cup was lifted by Özbek and former Belgian international Dries Mertens, underscoring the friendship between Belgium and Turkey.
