Galatasaray mourns senior member Ali Fuat Diriker

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek announced during the October Ordinary Council Meeting that the club is mourning the loss of Ali Fuat Diriker, one of its most senior members. Diriker, who joined the club in 1935, passed away at the age of 108. A memorial ceremony will be held at RAMS Park Stadium to honor his memory.

In his address, Özbek also discussed the football team's objectives, stating a goal to achieve a 27th championship and a fifth consecutive title. He expressed confidence in coach Okan Buruk and the players, emphasizing the desire to bring domestic success to the European stage. Additionally, Özbek called on members to participate in the upcoming Financial General Assembly to help shape the future of the club.
