Galatasaray signs Aleksey Batrakov from Lokomotiv Moscow

Galatasaray has officially announced the transfer of 21-year-old Russian midfielder Aleksey Batrakov from Lokomotiv Moscow. The deal involves a transfer fee of 25 million euros, with Lokomotiv Moscow also set to receive 15% of the profit from any future sale.

Batrakov has signed a five-year contract starting from the 2026-2027 season, with a guaranteed annual net salary of 3.25 million euros. The young talent, who has appeared in 84 matches and scored 34 goals for Lokomotiv, arrived in Istanbul for medical examinations.

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek expressed confidence that Batrakov will significantly contribute to the club's success in the Süper Lig and the Champions League. Reports suggest a release clause of 55 million euros has been set for his future European moves.
