Galatasaray in talks to sign Russian midfielder Aleksey Batrakov

Galatasaray has entered negotiations with Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow for 21‑year‑old midfielder Aleksey Batrakov. Batrakov, who played 36 matches for Lokomotiv scoring 17 goals and providing 12 assists, is valued at around €28 million and is under contract until 2029. The Turkish side has sent an official interest letter and bon‑transfer talks have begun, though no final agreement has been announced. Lokomotiv’s representative Vladimir Kuzmiçev noted the player’s priority is a move to a top‑five European league, and the club has stated that any offer must meet its expectations.
