Galatasaray targets national stars Can Uzun, Aral Şimşir and Barış Alper Yılmaz

Galatasaray is actively pursuing several Turkish national team players ahead of the new season. The club has opened formal talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over forward Can Uzun, with a reported transfer fee between €40‑60 million. Negotiations are also under way with Midtjylland for 23‑year‑old winger Aral Şimşir, with Midtjylland demanding a minimum of €15 million.

In addition, Galatasaray has set a €50 million price tag for striker Barış Alper Yılmaz, attracting interest from Arsenal and other Premier League clubs. The club anticipates that successful sales of these players, especially after the upcoming World Cup, could generate up to €105 million in bon‑fire revenue.

These moves are part of Galatasaray’s strategy to bolster its squad for domestic dominance and a strong campaign in the UEFA Champions League.
