Galatasaray President outlines championship goals and US sponsorship talks

During the October meeting of the Galatasaray Divan Board, President Dursun Özbek outlined the club’s strategic goals and addressed ongoing legal and financial matters.

On the sporting front, Özbek announced that the club aims to secure its 27th championship and achieve five consecutive titles. He emphasized the importance of bringing domestic success to the European stage.

Regarding finances, Özbek revealed that Galatasaray is in active negotiations with a major US-based firm to secure international sponsorship, noting that domestic sponsorship markets have reached a saturation point.

Addressing legal disputes, the President commented on the conflict with Taç Spor regarding the club’s championship trophies. He acknowledged a legal dispute and stated that the club is working to resolve issues stemming from commitments made during previous administrations.
