Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek Secures Approval for 11 Development Projects at Extraordinary General Assembly
At an extraordinary general assembly held in the Lütfi Kırdar International Congress and Exhibition Center, Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek announced that the club has reached a level described as “Turkey’s Bayern Munich.” He highlighted the Aslantepe Valley Project as the club’s “century project” and noted a ten‑year investment loan prepared by VakıfBank for its financing.
Members approved all 11 agenda items, including the Leo Residence in Mecidiyeköy, new Metin Oktay facilities in Kemerburgaz, the Aslantepe Valley development, a new Florya Metin Oktay sports complex, the Hasnun Galip building, land acquisitions in Riva and Büyükçekmece, the establishment of a basketball subsidiary, and a public offering of Galatasaray Retail and Merchandising A.Ş. The approvals were met with a standing ovation from the assembly participants.
