Galatasaray pursues AS Roma winger Matías Soulé

Galatasaray has initiated official efforts to sign 23-year-old Argentine winger Matías Soulé from AS Roma. Reports indicate the Turkish club is prepared to offer a significant transfer fee, with figures cited around 25 million euros, to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.

Soulé, who joined Roma from Juventus for over 25 million euros, has struggled to secure a permanent starting position in the Italian capital. His current contract with Roma runs until June 2029. While Galatasaray is a primary suitor, competition for the player includes Turkish side Beşiktaş, as well as Premier League clubs Sunderland and Fulham.

Roma is reportedly seeking a fee in the region of 35 million euros to balance their budget. Soulé has expressed uncertainty regarding his future with the club, stating, “To be honest, I don’t know” when asked if he would remain with the team.
