Galatasaray Spor Kulübü celebrates 121st anniversary

Galatasaray Spor Kulübü celebrated its 121st anniversary with a series of ceremonies in Istanbul. The commemorations included visiting the grave of founder Ali Sami Yen at Feriköy Cemetery, laying a wreath at the Taksim Republic Monument, and holding an event at Galatasaray High School.

During the celebrations, Club President Dursun Özbek expressed the organization's goal of achieving a fifth consecutive championship and reaching a 27th title. He also emphasized the club's ambition to build upon previous successes in European competitions.

Addressing administrative concerns, Özbek issued a call to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) regarding developments within the Central Referee Committee (MHK). He noted the urgency of the situation, stating that leagues are set to begin in one week despite the current status of the committee.
