Galatasaray targets Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick

Galatasaray has shifted its transfer focus to Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick. The Turkish club aims to bolster its attacking line to support Victor Osimhen.

Following an unsuccessful attempt to sign Ermedin Demirovic from Stuttgart, where a 15 million Euro offer was rejected, Galatasaray management has decided to pause negotiations for Demirovic. Instead, the club plans to redirect its 15 million Euro budget toward the 30-year-old Czech striker.

Technical Director Okan Buruk has reportedly been monitoring Schick's performance for some time and has approved the move. Schick, who stands 1.91 meters tall, recorded 22 goals and 4 assists in 42 official appearances for Leverkusen last season. Galatasaray is expected to initiate formal contact with the German club shortly.
