Galatasaray targets Deniz Gül from FC Porto

Galatasaray has officially initiated moves to sign 22-year-old striker Deniz Gül from FC Porto. The Turkish club is targeting the young forward to serve as a domestic-status option and backup for Victor Osimhen.

Technical director Okan Buruk has reportedly given positive feedback regarding the player. While FC Porto wishes to retain him, negotiations are expected to begin shortly. Sources suggest a potential transfer fee could fall within the range of 15 to 20 million euros.

Deniz Gül, who is 1.90 meters tall, recorded 7 goals and 1 assist in 44 appearances for Porto last season. His current contract with the Portuguese club runs until 2029.
