Galatasaray targets Ermedin Demirović with improved transfer offer
Galatasaray is intensifying its pursuit of Bosnia and Herzegovina international Ermedin Demirović from VfB Stuttgart. After an initial offer of approximately 15 million euros was rejected, the Turkish club is reportedly preparing a new bid of up to 20 million euros plus bonuses to secure the 28-year-old striker.
While Stuttgart's sporting director, Fabian Wohlgemuth, stated the club has no intention of selling unless an offer exceeds 30 million euros, negotiations between the clubs are ongoing. Demirović has reportedly agreed to personal terms, including a three-year contract worth over 4 million euros net per season, and has expressed his desire to join the Istanbul-based club.
Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeneß has emphasized Demirović's importance to the squad, noting his significant goal-scoring contributions over the last two seasons. The striker has recorded 32 goals and 11 assists in 88 appearances for the German side.
