Galatasaray eyes Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde in major transfer push

Galatasaray confirmed its interest in signing 25‑year‑old Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde from Real Madrid. The Turkish club, led by president Dursun Özbek, has placed Valverde at the top of its transfer list, describing the pursuit as a “world‑shaking operation” comparable to the recent Osimhen signing.

Valverde is under contract with Real Madrid until 2029 and is estimated to be worth about €90 million. The arrival of new Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho could influence the deal, as his tactical view of the player may affect Madrid’s willingness to negotiate. Galatasaray is reportedly seeking a suitable financial structure for the move.
