Udinese pursues Galatasaray defender Victor Nelsson in transfer talks

Udinese technical director Gökhan Inler has opened official contacts with Galatasaray to negotiate the acquisition of 27‑year‑old Danish centre‑back Victor Nelsson. The defender, who has 18 caps for Denmark and spent the last season on loan at Hellas Verona, is under contract with Galatasaray until June 2027 and is valued at around €6 million. Galatasaray indicated willingness to sell for €4‑5 million, either on a permanent deal or a new loan arrangement.

In parallel, Udinese is also handling the situation of Italian midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, whose loan‑to‑buy option with Udinese is nearing its deadline. Galatasaray has not lowered its asking price for Zaniolo and is preparing for his participation in pre‑season training if a move does not materialise.
