Galatasaray women's basketball begins 2026-2027 season training

The Galatasaray Çağdaş Faktoring women's basketball team has officially begun preparations for the 2026-2027 season. Training sessions commenced at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, attended by Galatasaray Vice President Mehmet Cibara.

While five players from the Turkish National Team have returned to training, six players currently competing in the WNBA are not yet present. Their arrival is expected to depend on WNBA playoff schedules. Cibara stated that the club's objective is to build squad harmony quickly to compete for trophies both in the Turkish League and in Europe.

General Coordinator Işıl Alben expressed satisfaction with the recent transfer period, noting that the club has taken all necessary steps to pursue championships and is optimistic about the upcoming season.
