Galatasaray's Icardi contract dispute stalls transfer plans

Icardi, however, has expressed dissatisfaction with key terms of the offer, citing concerns over salary, contract length and his projected role as a second‑striker behind Victor Osimhen. Reports indicate he prefers certainty of a regular starting berth and is weighing alternative options. The stalemate is creating tension within Galatasaray’s transfer committee, which fears prolonged negotiations could weaken the club’s bargaining position and hamper recruitment.
