Galatina hosts ‘Sport, a Bridge for Peace’ initiative for Ukraine

The city of Galatina is hosting ‘Sport, a Bridge for Peace’, an initiative designed to strengthen ties with the Ukrainian people and promote values of hospitality and fraternity through sports and culture. The project is organized by Milan Club Galatina, the Polvere di Stelle social cooperative, the Uniti per l’Ucraina Association, and the National Congress of Ukrainian Communities in Italy, with official support from the Embassy of Ukraine in Italy.

A central event will take place at the Cavallino Bianco Theater, serving as a platform for dialogue and a welcome to young Ukrainian guests and local Ukrainian communities. The gathering includes civil and religious authorities, representatives from Milan, Inter, Juventus, and Lecce fan clubs, and journalists. Featured speakers Luca Serafini and Davide Grassi will provide testimonies regarding sports and social commitment to reinforce the message of solidarity.
