Galaxie cultural center prepares for final season in Prague

The Galaxie interdisciplinary cultural center in Prague is entering its final season. An initiative by Dejvické divadlo and Divadlo Minor, the project was established to provide space for various performing arts while their home venues undergo reconstruction.

Data indicates the center has attracted thousands of visitors, including approximately 16 percent from the local Jižní Město area and 25 percent from municipalities outside of Prague. Lukáš Průdka, director of Dejvické divadlo, noted that the project serves as a pilot model for how interdisciplinary centers can function in the capital and potentially other locations.

The concluding program includes several premieres and festivals. Upcoming events include a performance by Petr Nikl and Jan Slovák, an acrobatic show by DoubleSalt, and the 4 + 4 dny v pohybu festival. Additionally, the season will feature events honoring the 90th anniversary of Václav Havel through the Havel ALIVE festival.
